ANYONS ON HIGHER GENUS SURFACES - a constructive approach
نویسندگان
چکیده
We reconsider the problem of anyons on higher genus surfaces by embedding them in three dimensional space. From a concrete realization based on three dimensional flux tubes bound to charges moving on the surface, we explicitly derive all the representations of the spinning braid group. The component structure of the wave functions arises from winding the flux tubes around the handles. We also argue that the anyons in our construction must fulfil the generalized spin-statistics relation. PACS number: 03.65.-w, 03.65.Bz Supported by the Swedish Natural Science Research Council

Anyons from non-solvable finite groups are sufficient for universal quantum computation
We present a constructive proof that anyonic magnetic charges with fluxes in a non-solvable finite group can perform universal quantum computations. The gates are built out of the elementary operations of braiding, fusion, and vacuum pair creation, supplemented by a reservoir of ancillas of known flux. Procedures for building the ancilla reservoir and for correcting leakage are also described. ...
متن کاملIntrinsic quasiparticle’s spin and fractional quantum Hall effect on Riemann surfaces
We derive the braid relations of the charged anyons interacting with a magnetic field on Riemann surfaces. The braid relations are used to calculate the quasiparticle’s spin in the fractional quantum Hall states on Riemann surfaces. The quasiparticle’s spin is found to be topological independent and satisfies physical restrictions. PACS numbers: 73.20.Dx, 05.30.-d, 03.65.Fd, 71.45.-d, 74.65+n. ...
متن کاملNumerical and Analytical Approach for Film Condensation on Different Forms of Surfaces
This paper tries to achieve a solution for problems that concern condensation around a flat plate, circular and elliptical tube in by numerical and analytical methods. Also, it calculates entropy production rates. At first, a problem was solved with mesh dynamic and rational assumptions; next it was compared with the numerical solution that the result had acceptable errors. An additional suppor...
متن کاملGeometrical approach to SU(2) navigation with Fibonacci anyons
Topological quantum computation with Fibonacci anyons relies on the possibility of efficiently generating unitary transformations upon pseudoparticles braiding. The crucial fact that such set of braids has a dense image in the unitary operations space is well known; in addition, the SolovayKitaev algorithm allows to approach a given unitary operation to any desired accuracy. In this paper, the ...
